Our desire is to provide an opportunity for all women to draw near to the heart of God and enjoy lasting friendships. Our River West community of women is a safe and caring place that encourages Bible study, prayer, discipleship, and service. We aim to walk through life together, growing in our faith, and applying the truth of the Gospel to our everyday lives.

THE RIVER
The River is a weekly Bible study designed to help women know God and His Word more fully in order to live a life of authentic faith. Together we enjoy worship, live teaching, small group discussion, and prayer. In the process, women are able to make lasting friendships that are centered on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

SPROUTS
Sprouts is a community of young moms with children ages infant through kindergarten. In this season of early motherhood there are many unique needs, challenges, and joys. Sprouts focuses on helping young moms build friendships with each other while learning family/parenting tips from knowledgeable and inspiring speakers.

OLDER ACTIVE KINDRED SISTERS (OAKS)
OAKS is a group of women, 55 years and older, who seek to encourage, support, and pray for one another. With love, laughter, faith, and friendship we celebrate our season of life together and find God’s grace to meet the challenges inherent to our stage of life.

MOMS IN PRAYER
Moms in Prayer impacts children and schools worldwide for Christ by gathering mothers to pray for their children and their schools. Groups range from school age to college/career and grandmothers groups. There are currently over 15 existing groups in the Lake Oswego, West Linn, Wilsonville, and Tigard area.

ABUSE RECOVERY MINISTRY SERVICES (ARMS) | HER JOURNEY
At River West Church, we want to be the kind of community where it’s OK to not be OK. In this spirit, we offer a confidential class specifically for women called Her Journey. Her Journey helps women walk through their healing process from all types of domestic abuse. Women who are struggling, or have struggled, with any type of domestic abuse — including emotional, verbal, sexual, spiritual, financial, animal, property and/or physical abuse — are welcome to attend.

MENDING THE SOUL 
Mending the Soul is a ministry that provides Biblical, research-based curriculum and resources to men and women whose lives have been affected by various forms of abuse in the context of safe, loving, confidential small groups. Groups are made up of 3-5 people of the same gender and last 12-14 weeks.
